Wired

Check out the electricity lines. This would be considered a fire hazard almost anywhere but this continent. Ah, Asia -- where different standards of safety, infrastructure and communications are apparent, literally, on every street corner.

Ha ha. Those lines look like the ones attached to my house in Kings Beach. When the snow load piles up, our electricity fades in and out. I hope you're doing well. I think about the fact that we're on the same continent all the time!

Ahh, Kings Beach. Did you hear it's already snowing over there? Jeez. I'm in my own world of heat and humidity here. The thought of snow already seems so foreign.

It's crazy that we're on the same continent. I still wish I could visit you. Have fun, and try not to wear that blazer too much. I know you like it Renee, but if you walk around at home with it on, people might think you're weird. :)

Ha ha. I tried wearing it in the onsen the other day but they wouldn't let me. I didn't even know it was snowing in Tahoe. Geez, talk about being disconnected. YOU have fun!
